Light as a Bird

This still life is part of my “artificial impressionism”-series.

For this painting, the ceramic Portuguese swallow takes center stage. Inspired by such a ceramic bird hanging on my own wall, I wanted to add elements of “home” to this composition, while mixing it with the more futuristic neon-light string.
